Daniel Winner

Founder, Partner – CEO

Daniel holds a degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the University of Victoria.  After graduation, Daniel started his career as a DSP Engineer at IVL Audio where he developed his passion for audio and DSP.  Daniel then joined the founding members of TC-Helicon Vocal Technologies in 2001 as the principle DSP Algorithm Engineer.  During his 16 years at TC-Helicon his work was integral to all software and firmware on every product, which led to years of success with a line of vocal processing products that continues to shape the industry today.

Daniel joined Kinsol Research in 2017.  The combination of his specialized knowledge of vocal processing and DSP audio with their existing specialization in machine learning became the foundation of many new audio business opportunities.

Now joining forces with other highly experienced audio engineers Daniel is a proud founder of Shift Audio.

Peter Csapo

Founder, Partner – CTO

Peter Csapo is a software engineer with more than two decades of working close to the metal.  Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Math from Simon Fraser University.  Peter developed a passion for electronics through working with micro-controller and industrial control systems.  His experience includes writing Linux device drivers, optimizing beam-forming algorithms for a multi-beam sonar system, and interfacing CCDs for microscopy cameras using FPGAs.

Peter brought his wide range of technical expertise to TC-Helicon and for seven years was a lead developer designing firmware for groundbreaking voice processors.  In late 2018, Peter was instrumental in the development of a new line of industry-first products targeted at online gamers and content streamers.

With the desire to both innovate and create a positive working environment Peter is a proud founder of Shift Audio.
